What you’ll build

You'll build a coordinated team of AI agents that work together on an objective we'll give you at kickoff. You'll design agents that will delegate work to each other, report back what they find, challenge each other's conclusions, and synthesize results. Instead of pointing one agent at a broad problem, you'll create a system that behaves like a team.

Agenda

  1. Sept 22

    Kickoff

Meet the team and see the challenge revealed live. In person in Toronto, with a virtual option. Registered participants get the rules, constraints, and everything needed to build.

  2. Sept 24

    Registration deadline

Register before end of day to be considered.

  3. Sept 22 – 29

    Build

The week is yours. All work is asynchronous and solo, so build whenever and wherever works for you.

  4. Sept 29

    Submission deadline

Submissions close at end of day. One final submission per participant.

  5. Sept 30 – Oct 1

    Review

Our engineers review every submission. Invitations to Demo Day go out.

  6. Oct 2

    Demo Day

In person in Toronto. Finalists walk through their work and winners are announced live.

Every task is scored out of 100, weighted to fixes that survive tests you have not seen.

Build the swarm that divides the work, and knows what it has found.

Questions

Who can participate?

Students and early-career engineers with a strong builder mindset, who ship real systems and want to work under technical constraints. We care far more about your ability to build than your resume.

How does it work?

Two events. The kickoff is where you meet the team and we announce the prompt — join in person or virtually. Demo Day is where we walk through your work and announce winners. The time in between is yours, to work asynchronously.

Do I need to apply to attend?

Yes. Register using the link on this page.

When is the registration deadline?

September 24, end of day.

Can I participate virtually?

Up to Demo Day, yes. The kickoff can be joined virtually and all work up to submission is asynchronous. Demo Day itself is in person in Toronto on October 2, and finalists are required to attend.

Do I compete solo or in a team?

Solo.

Does it cost anything?

No. Free to register and compete.

When do I find out what I'm building?

The challenge is revealed live at the kickoff on September 22.

What can I win?

A fast-tracked interview to join our founding Toronto team. Top performers skip straight to final-round interviews. This is a real chance to show what you can do and make a real impression.

Is travel sponsored?

At this time, we are not sponsoring travel. Participants are responsible for their own transportation and accommodation.
